Time's running out

About one and a half year ago, life was going about like normal. I could go to school every weekday and meet with all my beloved classmates and teachers. I could go outside my home and ride my bike, sometimes hanging out with some of my friends. I could go to places with my family; sometimes on vacations with the car being loaded with lots of heavy stuff like baggages, skateboards,  laptops, plants (you heard me right, plants!), Gallons of water, and so much more. I went everywhere without even having to worry about putting a mask on my face.
Suddenly, the world turned into a nightmare. A deadly virus from China had spread to every corner of the world. If I'm not mistaken, the first countries to have a lockdown were China and America. Other countries followed suite.
When my country was in for a real lockdown, I can't tell you how bored I was for having to stay at home 24 hours straight without even going outside once in a while. I thought my family would be going outside frequently to buy stocks of food, but my mother subscribed to an online shopping service called sayurbox (sayur means vegetable in Indonesia btw). There, you can buy any kind of vegetables and other grocery stuff. It's like the amazon for non fast-food, really.
Luckily, my family's economical conditions were fine, as my father can work from home. Out there, lots of people needed help. Because of the pandemic, tens of thousands of mill-workers were fired due to the lack of funds. So many companies were losing tons of money, because all of the sudden economical disaster. I wanted to help those people who were in economical trouble, but I'm just a kid, what could I do?
About my education, like every other kid in this world – in this pandemic – I would have to learn from home using online platforms like Zoom and Google classes. From the beginning it was boring. The only thing you could do was talk and stare at each other virtually. No physical engagements or anything, just a 2D screen showing your teachers and classmates. Well, at least after school is over I can play PUBG with my other online friends and grab a chicken dinner together.
    My routine was simple:
Wake up, take a bath, eat breakfast, do online schooling, play games, eat lunch, read books, eat dinner, go to sleep. And everything was at HOME. I thought that I was going to go crazy after following this new habit, but it turns out I didn't. In fact, months passed by without me even noticing it. 7 months into the pandemic, I looked back and was astonished to see that I had made it this far. Another 8 - 9 months passed. The 12-year-old me in 7th grade had grown into a 14-year-old in 9th grade. Sure, I am also different now. But still, being in 7th grade just felt like yesterday, man.
I heard a lot of people saying that this was just the sort of thing they had experienced; a year gone and it felt like weeks. So does anybody else have an objection? Or are we all in?
